“Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothe with honour and majesty” (Psalm 104:1). How great is our God Covenant and greatly should He be praised from the rising of the sun to the setting of the same. Let’s give the Lord a great shout of praise for all of His goodness toward us. Truly the Lord has been good to us.
Covenant, the Lord has positioned us to impart the Word to impact the world for His glory. We have been called and commissioned to be a local body of believers in north central San Antonio to celebrate God and connect with one another through worship and fellowship; operate as an effective ministry team; value people because people matter to God; equip effective witnesses through evangelism; nurture life change to attract others to Christ; affirm members SHAPE for ministry because every member is a minister; necessitating the sharing of the gospel for is the power of God unto salvation; and teaming in kingdom building across the street, the states and the sea. Let’s utilize this unique opportunity to effectively transform the corporate rhetoric of our vision into a congregational and community reality.
Let us always pray for one another and trust God to provide us the resources that we need to effectively execute His vision. We know and are sure that our God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or even think. Therefore let us not grow weary in well doing as we continue in our partnership to expand God’s kingdom. Ivory and I are truly excited about what is happening for God’s glory at Covenant and grateful for the opportunity to serve with each of you.
